Abstract

Pentingnya evaluasi pembelajaran matematika dan kurikulum menjadi faktor krusial dalam memastikan tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Evaluasi pembelajaran matematika melibatkan pengumpulan data yang komprehensif melalui berbagai metode seperti wawancara, observasi kelas, penggunaan angket, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui evaluasi tersebut memberikan gambaran tentang efektivitas pembelajaran matematika, manajemen sekolah yang baik, pengembangan kompetensi guru, penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, serta kesiapan siswa dan orang tua dalam menghadapi pembelajaran online. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya beberapa aspek yang perlu diperhatikan dalam pembelajaran matematika di Indonesia. Dalam konteks manajemen sekolah, evaluasi dapat membantu mengidentifikasi kelemahan dan melakukan perbaikan dalam pengelolaan sekolah yang efektif. Evaluasi juga dapat mengarahkan pengembangan kompetensi guru melalui program pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional yang sesuai. Selain itu, evaluasi dapat membantu mengevaluasi penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Selanjutnya, evaluasi juga memperhatikan kesiapan siswa dan orang tua dalam pembelajaran online, termasuk peningkatan aksesibilitas dan pengelolaan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Dengan melakukan evaluasi yang baik dan berkelanjutan, diharapkan pembelajaran matematika di Indonesia dapat terus meningkat kualitasnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman dan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam pengembangan kemampuan siswa dalam matematika. Evaluasi yang dilakukan secara rutin dan berkelanjutan menjadi landasan penting untuk melakukan perbaikan dan pengembangan dalam pembelajaran matematika di Indonesia. 

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning ability is a key competency that must be developed in 21st-century mathematics learning. However, results from international studies such as the PISA (Planning for Student Assessment) indicate that Indonesian students' mathematical reasoning skills remain low, largely due to learning approaches that focus on memorizing formulas rather than understanding concepts. This study aims to systematically examine effective learning strategies for improving secondary school students' mathematical reasoning skills. The method used was a literature review of 15 selected scientific articles from the past five years. The study identified seven key strategies proven effective: Problem-Based Learning, Discovery Learning, SSCS, CORE, metacognitive approaches, Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI), and digital technology-based learning. These seven strategies encourage active engagement, reflection, argumentation, and conceptual understanding in students' formulation of conjectures, proving, and modeling mathematical ideas. This study not only presents a theoretical synthesis but also provides practical guidance for teachers in selecting learning approaches that suit the characteristics and needs of students. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference in the development of sustainable critical reasoning-based learning.
