Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Think-Talk-Write (TTW) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik ditinjau dari motivasi belajar. Adapun jenis penelitiannya yakni factorial dengan populasi penelitian seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII dan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling sehingga terpilih VIIIA sebagai kelas kontrol dan VIIIC kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes, angket dan lembar observasi sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pre test kelas ekperimen sebesar 18,78 dan post test sebesar 80,19, kelas kontrol rata-rata pre-test nya 14,44 dan rata-rata post-test nya sebesar 70,93. Analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Think-Talk-Write (TTW).
